1. Knowing your status

It is important to know your sexual health status in terms of infections and other diseases like HIV and AIDS. Protect yourself, always go for regular checkups, and make sure you get tested.

Every young person needs to go for a checkup at least once every year. Young girls are advised to go for well-woman checks so that they know their reproductive system is healthy and functioning well.
